I’ve lived in SA for 10+ years and I remember my mom saying “that’s not the REAL Alamo, they have it hidden somewhere else” and I legit believed her bc she’s my mom but Omg why would she say such a thing
San Antonio born and raised. I've taken my fair share of friends, family, and visitors to the Alamo and can tell you it's quite possibly the most boring tourist trap I've ever seen, primarily due to how overhyped it is. That being said, this is the most incredible picture I've ever seen of the Alamo and has immediately ignited a new interest in the Alamo for its sheer historical value. Thank you.
