What's with the ring of symbols around the cap? I know what the symbol itself is, but why is it all over the cap?
Is it that if anyone from any direction looks at you they'll not be mistaken as to who they're looking at? Is that a space thing?
If it is, do they have the symbol on top of the cap and on the soles of the shoes, too? You know, to cover ALL directions?

I work in Air Force uniform issue. When the hat was revealed, there was a collective WTF amongst everybody.
