My brother was married last month. Dad had a picture of mom as a necklace. So she'd be there to see her boy walk down the aisle. She was looking forward to them getting married, but COVID hit, the wedding was delayed, and mom couldn't hang on.
It was supposed to be a happy day, and was, but I was crying most of the day.
