15 years and a possibly $10,000+ commitment (food, medicine, vet bills, emergency bills for when the dog eats something it shouldn’t, end of life care, puppy training)

It always irks me when people scoff at $100 adoption fees like… that’s a drop in the bucket compared to what the dog will cost you over its lifetime (assuming you take care of it properly).

I got my rescue around Xmas. He’s not a present, apparently he is a appendage because he’s attached to me at the hip. He can’t sleep unless a part of him is on me
