Awesome! I wish you all the best.

I’m sure you hear lots of survivor stories, but I hear every one is encouraging. My grandmother had her mastectomy on my 5th birthday. My parents took me to the hospital parking lot and she waived at me thru the window. Then 2 years of chemo, and she lived another 33 years. Later in life she told me she really wanted to die towards the end of chemo, and that she still sometimes would go to survivor support groups.

Stay strong, you got this.

Add: keep up with your support group, an in person meeting or an online group or a Reddit post. Whatever method, keep up with support.

My friend Rob used to tattoo nipples on women after reconstruction I don’t remember if he said free or for a steep discount. All the cancer centers in the area would send the women to him for it.

Rob you were a great man and I miss you brother can’t believe it’s been a year already.

Love your artwork!

My wife had a double mastectomy a year and a half ago. We just back from our first vacation since then, two weeks at a resort in Mexico.

She didn't wear a top all day at the pool, just had some temporary tattoos on her chest. Many, many people came up to her and complimented her. She's considering getting permanent tattoos on her chest now; your photo is very inspiring to her.

So many women feel pressured to have reconstructive surgery with implants, it's refreshing to see women who have opted for flat closure. My wife is hoping to inspire others to consider the "fit and flat" option.

Thank you for posting this photo!
