Man, who watches the news as their in-flight entertainment? It never even occurred to me to do that at any point when I've been on an airplane. I always enjoy being momentarily unplugged when I'm flying.
The fact that people watch any news as in flight entertainment baffles me.
I’ve seen people on planes tune into CNN and Fox and seriously cannot comprehend how one actively seeks out that shit.
Edit: had no idea this would blow up but I wanted to address comments about the news being soothing, as someone with anxiety on planes, I 100% get and respect that. Media/the news today comes with slivers of fact and a whole lot of emotion and opinions which is why I’m baffled people are so religious about watching it to stay informed when you have the internet at your fingertips.
