A federal judge said Wednesday that Trump lied under oath about voter fraud claims in the 2020 election.

Trump "knew that the specific numbers of voter fraud were wrong" but touted them "both in court and to the public," Judge David Carter wrote.

Carter made the determination in a ruling ordering a GOP lawyer to turn over his communications to the Jan. 6 committee.

A federal judge said Wednesday that former President Donald Trump lied under oath about voter fraud claims in Georgia while trying to get the state's 2020 election results overturned.

Wednesday wasn't the first time Carter suggested the former president committed a crime in connection to his crusade to subvert the 2020 election results.

Trump and Eastman "launched a campaign to overturn a democratic election, an action unprecedented in American history," Carter wrote.

The US Department of Agriculture is awarding $53 million in grants to beef up outreach efforts, improve technology and enhance the shopping experience for families receiving the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children, known as WIC.

WIC provides food, nutrition education, breastfeeding support and health care referrals to low-income children up to age 5 and to pregnant and postpartum women.

The number of children in the program jumped 8.7% to nearly 3.4 million, while the number of infants fell 7.7% to 1.4 million. »

A GOP candidate running for an Arizona college district’s governing board was arrested on a charge of public sexual indecency after an officer allegedly caught him masturbating in his truck near a preschool.

Randy Kaufman was arrested Oct. 4 but suspended his campaign Tuesday following media reports of his arrest.

Kaufman is running for the governing board of the Maricopa County Community College District, and was allegedly caught masturbating by the county’s community college police. »

Jan. 6 committee has yet to find a Trump lawyer who'll accept service of subpoena, sources say

But multiple lawyers representing Trump have told committee investigators they aren't permitted to formally accept service of the subpoena on behalf of Trump, sources familiar with the deliberations say.

Trump has increasingly had trouble finding representation for the various legal challenges he's facing, sources have told ABC News.

The committee has also contacted attorney Justin Clark, who has said he also isn't authorized to accept it, sources say. »
