The mask was initially sculpted in monsterclay (none drying clay) and molded in silicone with a fiberglass shell. Once demolded and cleaned I 'coldcast' the masks in a mixture of resin and powdered bronze. Finally I brushed on a chemical patina that slowly oxidises the surface of the bronze to form the bluish hue.
