My grandfather told me that people who migrated to my country fleeing germany on the second world war said the following story:

"we where following the stream of a river going in direction to a specific town near a concentration camp, when we suddenly saw what seemed like strings of garlic going down the river. We got close enough to pick one up, just to find that they where eyes strung together"

Somebody (or multiple people) where taking fucking eyes out, stringing them, then throwing them at rivers... I have no way to verify this story, but my grandfather told this one quite a few times.

FYI there aren’t any actual teeth in here- these are all crowns/bridges which were cut off.

Some of them have slits cut into them, which is an easy way to remove them.

If you look carefully you will see that these are mainly gold restorations and you don't see any teeth or roots. Many have cut lines which is what dentists do in order to remove an old crown. Not saying there was no torture but this looks like a dentist's stash of old restorations. They are recycled as scrap because of the gold content. You will find a jar of these in almost any dental office.

Edit: If the Russians were removing these from people's mouths by force, you would see a lot of broken teeth inside the crowns because that is what happens when you use force to remove them and I doubt they sat there with a dental drill to remove the tooth pieces.
