When taking this I was trying to capture the face of the peacock with a blend of colour behind from the feathers. I didn't want to lose the pattern of the feathers to background blur, so had to keep the aperture fairly closed down which meant that capturing an image with no movement blur was a challenge. I was very pleased to capture an image where the tail feathers filled the whole frame
