I took this picture after departing west Yellowstone airport yesterday. A copilot and I circled the Spring in a steep turn to capture the photos. A considerable zoom is used because it is requested by the national parks service for airplanes to fly at least 2000 feet above wildlife areas as to not disturb the animals.
