Pa. man wearing rainbow wig, ‘working to restore Trump to President King,’ arrested after carrying loaded gun into a Dairy Queen

A man wearing a rainbow wig was arrested in western Pa. on Monday after he walked into a Dairy Queen with a loaded handgun, according to a story from WPXI.

Citing a report from the Delmont Borough Police Department, the news station said someone traveling south on State Route 66 called 911 to report an erratic driver.

The caller then said they saw the car pull into the parking lot of a Dairy Queen and saw a man, dressed in a “bright yellow safety vest and a rainbow wig,” get out of it with a gun in his hand and walk into the store.

An officer arrived at the store less than a minute later and saw the man still inside it, police said, along with several other customers.

The man left the store via a side door and the officer approached him there.

According to KDKA, police said the man had a loaded .40-caliber handgun in his pocket, as well as several rounds of loose ammunition.

According to a police report, the man said he was “undercover” and was “working to restore Trump to President King of the United States.” He said he was armed to protect himself from “drug traffickers” and wanted to “kill Democrats and liberals.”

The man was taken into custody without incident.

Police searched his car and found two more loaded handguns, a 9mm and .22 caliber. All three guns and 62 rounds of ammunition were seized.

The man, identified by TribLive as Jan V. Stawovy, 61, of Hempfield, is being charged with firearms not to be carried without a license, person not to possess, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct. He is currently waiting arraignment.
