Nintendo Switch could be getting multiple remasters/remakes of GameCube games according to a rumor that comes from multiple sources.

Liam Robertson is a known insider in the gaming community with some sources and he has teased GameCube announcements this month. This was followed by NateDrake, another insider who has previously leaked information on an unannounced project, chiming in with a comment suggesting that F-Zero could be one of the games.

Emily Rogers, who is the most reliable insider out of the three also chimed in on this rumor suggesting that Nintendo is planning to bring a lot of the GameCube library to the Nintendo Switch. It could suggest that they might be adding the console to the Nintendo Switch Online library, just like they did with the Nintendo 64.

Emily Rogers suggested that Nintendo is either considering a lot of the GameCube games for remasters/remakes, or they are currently working on them. This includes several titles that were discussed in a thread on Famiboards.

There is a rumor going around about a potential Nintendo Direct in September with the announcement of Zelda: Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and Metroid Prime. It is possible that these might be one of the rumored GameCube games that are getting remastered for the Nintendo Switch while more are in the pipeline.
