I remember being 8 and thinking how cool the 2 dollar bill was

When I was a kid (in the 90s), my mother was getting an oil change. An older guy was there checking out and paid for his oil change with all $2 bills. He told us that he found it fun and paid for everything with $2 bills. He had a massive roll of them.

This guy I know who works in a hotel once told me he helped a young rich guy with his luggage and the guy asked him "It's my first time doing this, how much am I supposed to tip?"

He told him "five would be fine" and the guy pulled five bills at random from his wallet and gave them to him.

He was there a week and did that a few more times too, and it was always a different amount. Once he got 5 1-dollar bills, once he got a couple hundred and some fifties.
