The yearly Chicago Air and Water show was this past weekend.
Unfortunately, bad weather rolled in and delayed the show, and I got drenched despite best efforts while waiting for the rain to pass. Once it did, the show resumed, and I think it was worth the hassle.
Gear: Olympus OM-D EM5 III with LUMIX G Vario 100-300mm lens
Shot at: 300mm (600mm equivalent), f/5.6, 1/1250 sec, ISO 200
I relied pretty heavily on the continual autofocus to keep the planes in focus. This is one of the better results.
It was hard to get a composition that involved more than dreary sky, and this low pass was exactly what I was hoping for.
