Funny story...

I think it's from one of the extras from the Two Towers DVD, but in order to simulate the battles scenes from the movies, Weta developed an AI to figure out the best strategies during the battle.

So when they ran the simulation for the first time, each side figured out that the best strategy was to drop their weapons and run the opposite direction.

That was in 2002. Imagine an RTS made with that tech!
