GameMill Entertainment looks set to release a new Avatar: The Last Airbender game for PlayStation 4 and 5 this year

The new game in the franchise, subtitled Quest for Balance, has been listed on Amazon Japan ahead of its announcement and is expected to release on November 8, according to the retailer.

Not much information is shared on this listed page aside from the publisher GameMill Entertainment, which is best known for releasing games based on popular licenses such as Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl and Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues.

Back in February website Avatar News first reported on a Nickelodeon Avatar console RPG game in development, which it claimed would be based on the Aang era and release much sooner than expected. This seemingly aligns with this recent listing of the game.

This will be Avatar’s first game since 2014’s The Legend of Korra game, which was developed by PlatinumGames, best known for the Bayonetta series and NieR:Automata.

A turn-based RPG mobile game is also in the works titled Avatar: Generations, which is developed by Square Enix London Mobile and Navigator Games. It was recently announced it will soft launch its title in August in various regions.

That’s too soon for no announcements yet. Please spend another year on it. Make it epic. Please.
