These used to be commonplace like...30-35 years ago (eegads I almost said 20), and I figured it was a non-working one someone left out on display cause it is kinda neat but that sign sounds a lot newer than that. The Sacagawae dollars were only minted sporadically between '00-12. So...I guess it could be twenty years old or newer. EDIT: minted =! circulation, so yes it could still be more recent than that.
