If only their beauty outshined their incredibly asshole-ish nature as a consistent feeder bully, fantastic shot though!

They make great, if messy, pets. It's legal to own them because they're invasive species. I had one that my wife raised from when it was abandoned as a hatchling at a construction site. She lived around 15 years and was a great little bird. Total spaz, shit on everything, but adorable in her way. She absolutely insisted on a bath every single day and it was the cutest damn thing. We'd fill up a sink to a 2-3 inches and put our hand flat on the bottom. She would land on our hand and then dip her head down into the water and whip her beak back and forth while flapping her wings at her sides. She got completely soaked and got us pretty wet in the process, it was so cute. She was a great talker too, easily rivaled my African Grey for the number of words she could say. She didn't say them as appropriately to the context as my Grey does, but she had quite the vocabulary in addition to just singing her own little songs.
