I had a drunk guy pounding on my door and yelling trying to get inside at like 3 am a few months ago.

I had to yell at him for a while before he clued in that he wasn't at his house or whatever. He was blackout and incoherent.

Lock your doors people.

I work in Davison. This was one of my coworkers friends. I guess he was just super drunk. He walked into the wrong building and went to where his apartment would be in his building. I lived in those apartments for 1 year and they all look the same except the newer builds near the back. Sad.

The apartments do have a main entry lock. I stayed in the newer builds and even those locks were broke every few days. Pushed a little too hard on the door and broke it completely out of the frame once. Took them a month to fix. I'm sure the older builds are pretty much non functioning at this point.

Occupant of apartment had children.

Edit* Spelling. Additional info.

I did this once at my friend’s college in full motorcycle gear. The apartments had identical floor plans and I had forgotten something in the bedroom after a party. Door was cracked so I cruised right in straight past the dumbfounded and possibly terrified occupants and right into their bedroom. It was when I woke up some poor dude who was sleeping exactly where I had been in the other apartment that I knew, I fucked up. Backed out slowly profusely apologizing, homie still had oatmeal falling from his slack jaw in the kitchen. But no one died! I’ll bet they kept the door locked after that, though.
