Stray will be out on July 19. It is coming to the PS4, PS5, and PC. The game has a 6 GB day one update fixing several of its bugs.

The developers have taken the cat-themed adventure a little more seriously and are calling the changelog as “pawtch notes”. The day one update will patch the game to version 1.02 on PS4 and it is currently out now. The fixes listed in the day one update might not be as detailed, but they do outline some important changes that have been made before the game launches on July 19.

As a reminder, Stray will be available for all PS Plus Extra or Premium subscribers on day one when it arrives on July 19.

Made some game scripts more robust when reloading checkpoints

Polished audio sounds and general mix in throughout

A LOT of collision fixes, naughty cat!

Thank you all for playing our first game! Hug your cat for us!

There was also another patch before this day one update which fixed the following issues.

Localization has been improved in several languages

Supplemental vibration has been added throughout the game

Some Meows have been totally re-meowed

Stability has been improved during a few critical moments

Performance has been improved in a few demanding places

The third-person cat adventure game Stray is situated in the seedy underbelly of a collapsing cybercity and its neon-lit alleys. The cat when interacting with the strange inhabitants of this uncharted area has to be sneaky, nimble, silly, and occasionally obnoxious. It will need the help of a tiny flying drone known only as B-12 to find a way out.

Can’t wait. It’s also 10% off right now on steam.

Would be funnier if it was “flea problems” instead of feline bugs

Also known as pussy problems.
