SAME! Special Education teacher. Taught in person all but 2 months of past 2.5 years, all sorts of bodily fluids fly around in our classroom. Vaxxed and boosted almost a year ago. Hadn't even had so much as the sniffles since March 2020.
Last day of work was this past Friday. By 11:00 am on Friday I was suddenly slammed with high fever and test positive. Awesome way to start the summer.
