I was around 3 miles from the launch and the camera was a 5Dii ~150 feet from me with a 70-300mm zoomed nearly all the way in to get telephoto compression, the camera was taking a photo every second, due to sound delay I had little clue when the rocket was launching and just kept posing until a friend told me it was high enough to be out of frame and then I quickly grabbed a camera to shoot the rest of launch.
