This is not your regular solar rainbow, but rather a lunar rainbow (moonbow) occurring in the middle of the night due to moonlight refracting off the water droplets at the base of Yosemite Falls. It looks impressively vibrant in this long exposure, but our eyes cannot pick up those colors and I could only see a fainter monochromatic version.
