At first, I wanted to get photos on Cadillac mountain, but the cloud cover and fog were too strong.

I drove around bar harbor and landed myself at Sand Beach. It was the DARKEST sky I have ever seen, allowing me to see all the stars. That was amazing!

I took multiple photos over 1.5 hours and this was the best one. I realize now that I should’ve used the 500 divided by focal length of lens (20mm) for 25 seconds to reduce the star trail.

What do you recommend to change or edit? Any tips for properly lighting the foreground?

Absolutely gorgeous. Well composed, and I don't know enough to give you useful tips. I only wish the image quality of the upload were just a little finer because I want that to be my next lock screen. Keep up the good work!

I'm glad there are still some dark spots in the north east.
