And your great grandmother is likely in the picture too under the fur blanket. Picture exposures at that time took 30 secs to sometimes minutes. Mothers would need to hold their children still and were often obscurred under blankets.

Always crazy seeing photos of folks you knew as older people in stages of their lives that you never had the chance to see them in.

My own grandma was born in 1925, after she passed away in 2020 and I helped clear her house I found a number of baby albums in her basement. I'd never seen any pics of her as a child and it was so sweet getting to see her as just another child with her whole life ahead of her.

Profile checks out. From other posts it seems like OP is born in the 1950's. Given that grandmother and mother were around 35 when giving birth (maybe youngest child?) this is totally possible.

If you think there are only genZ and young Millenials on reddit, you just don't pay enough attention. Same goes for the "There are no women on reddit" crowd.
