Excellent photo and an excellent memorial. When the traffic and sounds of people die down and you’re lost in the middle somewhere, it’s an eerie feeling.
Amazing picture and a denkmal that I will never forget. I recall that - as you enter the pillars - they start out small and seemingly insignificant. Just like how the notion of prejudice and scapegoating had started. But by the time you get to the middle, you are engulfed and entrapped in a maze of blocks ascending well beyond your comprehension. Akin to the level of the heinous genocide of the Jewish people.
