Hey man I burst my L4 vertebrae in an automobile accident when I was younger. Took 6 months but it feels better than ever nowadays so hopefully yours follows suit. Good luck!

Nothing in daily life upsets me more than uninterested and shit drivers. Drunk driving in this day and age is even more unbelievable. Get well soon dude.

I'm currently one month in from a C45 bilateral facet dislocation. Let me reassure you that your condition can change dramatically from what it is now. Your injury is so fresh, that you will need to wait at least two weeks for the swelling to go down, in reality probably four or more weeks. As the swelling goes down, only then will you begin to see the true effect of your injury, and it is very possible that many abilities will return during that time. Try not to focus on what you have lost, but what you still have and what you want to attain. Time is your friend. Don't look day by day. Look week by week, better yet biweekly. In time you will look back and see how far you have come. Your mind is now your greatest asset. It can work in credibly for you and your recovery, or it can work against you. Stay positive and focussed on your goals. You got this.
