During her testimony, Celli pointed to video interviews in which she had said Jan. 6, 2021 would be "our 1776."

Greene rebuffed most of Celli's points, either by criticizing the way the videos were edited or for airing on CNN, which she claimed was unreliable.

Asked about the Proud Boys' plans for a Jan. 6, "1776 Returns," Greene denied any knowledge of it.

She repeatedly stated that her main goal was to object to the results of the Electoral College.

Greene was also asked whether she recalled urging President Trump to impose martial law as a way to remain in power.

Celli also asked if she knew of certain groups planning demonstrations on Jan. 6, 2021, Greene responded, "I don't recall."

He referred to video interviews, especially the one in which Greene said Trump supporters could not "allow power to transfer peacefully like Joe Biden wants.". »

Texas BBQ chain owed employees nearly $900,000

ROANOKE, Texas — A North Texas barbecue restaurant withheld roughly $867,000 in tips and overtime pay from more than 900 employees, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.

An investigation by the department’s Wage and Hour division determined that Roanoke, Texas-based Hard Eight BBQ failed to properly compensate its employees who were earning tips.

The Department of Labor confirmed that Hard Eight BBQ is in 100% compliance after paying the back wages and tips to their employees, WFAA reported. »

Cops fired for ignoring robbery to catch Snorlax in Pokemon Go denied court review

A couple of Los Angeles Police Department officers have been denied a new court review after being fired for ignoring a robbery in progress to catch a Snorlax in Pokemon Go.

Earlier this year, it was reported that officers Louis Lozano and Eric Mitchell tried to catch a Snorlax in Pokemon Go despite getting a radio call that the Macy’s at Crenshaw Plaza was being robbed and cops had requested backup.

Lozano and Mitchell claimed that they never heard the request for backup because it was “loud”, resulting in their vehicle’s digital video system recording being reviewed. »
