The owner of a Georgia run range was killed in a robbery that also claimed the lives of his wife and grandson, authorities said Saturday.

The Grantville Police Department said the robbery occurred Friday evening at Lock Stock & Barrel Shooting, according to a Facebook statement.

The Coweta County Coroner's Office identified the victims as Tommy Hawk, Evelyn Hawk and Luke Hawk. Grantville Police Chief Steve Whitlock told NBC affiliate WXIA of Atlanta that Luke Hawk was on spring break from college and returned home to help his grandparents with their business.

Police said about 40 weapons and a video camera were taken from the gun range. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating. Due to the number of weapons taken, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives was also called to assist.

The shooting range is in rural Coweta County, about 50 miles southeast of Atlanta. Police are looking for witnesses and have not announced any arrests as of Saturday afternoon.

I've been to this place a couple times, needed help sighting in a hunting rifle scope. The owners were always nice and helpful - a real mom and pop kind of store.

I truly hope the person(s) who did this get what they deserve
