Took this one on a beach in New Zealand during last week's big display.

For the curious, I've included the settings and some processing details below. Enjoy!

EXIF:

Gear used: Nikon Z7, Nikkor 50mm f1.8S, Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Pro

Settings/processing details:

- Sky: Panorama made up of 11 tracked shots, each shot at ISO1600, f2.8 , 15 second exposures. Stitched in PTGui, star reduced with Starnet++ 2.0

- Foreground: shot an hour or so prior to the sky shots. 3 shot x 2 panorama, with each shot at ISO6400, f6.3, 150 second exposures. Had to use the spot removal tool and other similar tools to remove some unsightly stuff on the beach. I also stacked the shots to remove some noise.

- Sky and foreground were blended together in Photoshop.

This is the magical part of photography. It can capture things the human eye cannot see. Stunning picture.
