I had spent a couple of hours on a small forest hill where I know there sometimes is an owl. While overlooking a nearby field, I saw someone hiking through it. As they passed some of the taller grass a fox sneakily avoided them and made its escape straight towards where I was sitting.
Lucky for me, the fox was so occupied with climbing the hillside just down from where I was that it didn’t notice me until we were a few meters apart. I was sitting completely still and ready with the camera resting against my face as the fox looked at me, and I guess it didn’t understand that I was a human as it just casually walked along the trail past me while stopping every now and then to look some more.
