My first thought, ignoring the fact that spelling out "Gay Clown" on his face is giving you some criticism for using Gay as an insult [though contextually I think I get why you did it], is the fact that having to spell out the message for the viewer sort of detracts from how silly/wonderful the rest of the portrait is.
