Dude. 25 years into being a dad and I cannot believe I’m a dad. I mean, I did all the awesome dad things you can do like coaching, listening, hugging, but still. It’s totally life changing and the best responsibility, meaning you can hope for.

Wow. Lots of notes from Dads…here is one from a kid of an awesome dad: you don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be there.

I remember all the dumb jokes, the silly faces, and the goofy voices. My dad taught me stuff because he liked teaching and he thought I should learn. He showed me cool science stuff and even talked about his feelings. You know what? He asked for my opinion or my advice…like I mattered.

I learned how to throw a fast ball and how to make a pretty good Manhattan. I’m self assured and successful because my dad showed up and tried.
