My parents are avid readers and we had tons of books around the home when I was growing up. We were lower working-class so this wasn’t a common theme among my friends homes around the neighborhood.
I remember my Mother had this particular book laying around. Picked it up and read it front to back when I was like 6 or 7 maybe.
Having access to information like this at that age shapes you. For the better.
