I kinda miss this sort of cultural phenomenon. Now that we have instant access to all the episodes of any show ever, they've kind of ceased to be a unifying part of society. You used to be able to strike up a conversation with anyone by asking "did you see Seinfeld last night" or "what do you think is going to happen next week" and build a connection. Now it's just "have you seen Stranger Things" and "yeah I binged it all with a bottle of wine last Friday" and that's the end of the conversation.

All we have to chat about now is which politicians fucked us over this week. And that's what's wrong with society.
