When I was maybe 11-13 my dad got us fish tacos and one of the tacos I bit into had a kind of sharp metal staple that probably would have some some serious damage if had swallowed it. My dad was really mad and went back to the store and showed them and told them to check their supply and be careful. He didn’t throw the taco at them and get racist though.
Edit: my dad passed away a few months ago, he was a great guy and everyone really liked him. I’d love to tell him about how a random small story about him I shared online got me more upvotes than everything else I’ve ever posted combined. Thanks all!
My college age daughter works at a waxing salon where appointments are scheduled in 15 minute blocks and if you’re more than 10 minutes late they cancel your appointment. Every day she comes home with stories about women showing up 15 minutes late and losing their shit when they are told that their appointment has been cancelled. The policy is posted everywhere and customers are reminded of it every time they make an appointment. People are just stupid assholes these days.
