According to Buzz Osborne, singer for the Melvins and Kurts childhood friend, “We walked around the corner of this bank and all of a sudden there’s cops, a bunch of cops everywhere”. He also said their “favourite [graffiti] tag was God is gay”. This phrase later appeared in the Nirvana song Stay Away.
