Lost my dad a month ago due to COVID. He played saxophone all through junior and high school. He was extremely talented and could still play well up until he passed. He kept it for the rest of his life and was my inspiration for picking up flute and other woodwinds throughout school and after. I’m so glad I did marching band like him and he taught me how to be a better musician. I’m so glad I got to learn and appreciate music because of him. That will always be a gift he left behind for me. You’re dad looks so chilled out playing that trombone so casually! I can tell he was amazing at playing and doing what he loved! I’m sorry for your loss and hope you are healing well.
