Elvira actress Cassandra Peterson: ‘Losing 11,000 horny old men as followers after coming out’ is no big deal.

Cassandra Peterson, who has played Elvira for decades, claimed that losing 11,000 “horny old men” as followers was completely worth it if it meant she could finally be herself.

Peterson said on Thursday’s episode of David Yontef’s Behind the Velvet Rope podcast that her social media following plummeted after she came out in September of last year.

“I knew there would be some horny elderly men out there who wouldn’t appreciate the idea that they didn’t have a shot with me anymore,” the actress remarked.

“And I don’t want to tell them they didn’t stand a chance against me anyway,” Peterson added.

In addition to abortion rights, the bill also specifically outlines a right to access contraception, as well as to carry a pregnancy to term.

A vocal supporter of abortion rights and self-styled progressive, Murphy extended an olive branch of sorts to abortion opponents on Thursday. »

A dam that has blocked the Tromsa River in Norway for more than 100 years was blown up with dynamite this week, freeing migratory routes for fish.

Campaigners say removing the dam will help fish in the area thrive again, including grayling, burbot, Alpine bullhead and common minnows.

“Dams in rivers block migration routes – the swimways – of fish,” said Herman Wanningen, founder of the World Fish Migration Foundation and Dam Removal Europe. »
