I'm disappointed. If the coin didn't have her name on it I'd struggle to guess who that young figure represents. The face of the wrinkled wise sage that she was in her maturity would have been a far better choice. Wisdom is not a beauty contest.
The ridges on the edges of coins were originally designed to prevent "clipping" which was the practice of clipping or shaving off a small amount off of the edge of the coin, back when coins were made of metal with more value than today. Clip off a smidge from a bunch of silver coins, melt em together, and after a while, you've got enough silver to re-sell.
