My goddaughter hung out with creationists for a while and told me dinosaurs didn’t exist because they aren’t mentioned in the bible. I looked at her and told her if she believes in kangaroos (we are Australian) and she goes yea of course I see them all the time. I asked her to find me a kangaroo in the bible. She shut up about all that creationist nonsense.

I think OP deliberately left out the fact that this is not from a public school for extra angry comments.
That being said: This is not teaching, it’s indoctrination. For your kids‘ sake, please consider alternatives.
