I just got over it. Was vaccinated, thankfully only had very minor symptoms. The new strains are absurdly contagious. I haven't been out partying or going to crowded events. I work alone. Still caught it somehow.
I manage a grocery store and have had it twice. 34, male, overweight. The first was August 2020, it took weeks to test negative. The first week was like the worst flu of my life, the diarrhea persisted for seven weeks. It was awful.
The second time was September 2021, and I was fully vaccinated. The difference was night and day this time around. I had a headache for a couple days, maybe a low grade fever on day one or two. But otherwise I felt perfectly fine.
Covid is no joke and the vaccine made a huge difference in my symptoms.

I just got home from the ER. I have Covid, bronchitis, and a ruptured ear drum. I’m in hell. This is hell.

Glad you're out and doing well, OP!
