Do people still go door to door? I’ve always seen signs and not once experienced anyone walk up to sell anything. I don’t even get jehovah witnesses

My township has a law that all solicitors must get pre approved first. Some religious groups tried going around it saying it’s illegal against religion. Do we just called the cops and they got removed anyways.
