I bet it does this all the time by always on the exact same spot. That's what my cat does and my previous cat did it on the same spot, and your spot looks not that different from the one in my place. It must have something to do with the layout.
Great capture, too. I never thought to try to catch it, and it would be hard to make it happen for the camera.
