Seeing the side by side comparison actually makes me appreciate what was able to be accomplished 242 years ago even more. That ship is a thing of beauty.
Edit: The use of "side by side" above was meant as a figure of speech. I fully understand that at the time the picture was taken, the two ships were not next to each other, but rather one in front of the other.
