I kind of wonder if they could do that with large(r) normal rolling suitcases.

I know some people like those kind of insert bags that let you move the inserts to the hotel dresser without actually removing your clothes. But I was at a hotel last week that had basically no drawers, the "dresser" just held stuff like the mini fridge and other hotel stuff, like the coffee maker and its supplies.

So plopping a bag on the luggage stand and unzipping a mini dresser would have been very useful.
