A friend once said to me “you just don’t see it” when discussing police brutality. So simple, but it really changed my perception of things, made me relook at our history to discover things like this and 100s of other similar events/tragedies. Kinda depressing when we still have asshats trying to hide or ignore This history in favor of blind mindless flag waving.
