I live in Tiburon, and Robin died the same day as my 15-year-old dog. Which is a weird statement. But he also was such a giving and kind human, everyone locally had a story about him. He wasn't a figment of your Hollywood imagination. He truly was as gracious and kind and brilliant and patient and loving and sweet as you could ever hope a human to be. He was so available. He would give of himself, at his own expense, to rouse and awaken the entire world. I have nothing but joyous love for this dude.
We are at an inflection point for the human race, and there is a crisis of empathy, and if we lose sight of people like Robin, we will be doomed. He was the greatest of us. He still is.
