Here is the original version of this image. Credit to the photographer, Kyle van Emmerik (aka kve239 on IG). Per the IG source:

Fort Myers, Florida

Amazing thunderstorm during blue hour. Inspired by @hoovisyo who made a masterpiece from this night. Go check out his photo!! This was both my first composite, 3 images blended together, & my first real photos of lightning... I hope you guys enjoy it!!

And here is a higher quality and less cropped version of OP's image. Rob Hoovis (aka hoovisyo on IG) did the modifications. On IG they provide the following caption:

@kve239 & I went out to shoot a sunset a few nights back. 10 minutes before, he hits me up... “hey let’s go!” I ran out, got there & shot some when we noticed this cloud forming across the river. It looked like it might turn into a lightning storm. We set up and started firing away. It was an incredible show! Kyle was hyped & got some incredible photos - be sure to check them out! He may have even just posted one right now! 😂 I also got some stuff. After editing everything, there were these 3 pics left over that were good but I wanted to see if I could blend them together to make something better. They were shot in succession so the blend was easy & this is the result. I wish so bad I could tell you that these strikes happened in the same 30 seconds but - I gotta work on my lying to people. 3 photo blend. More coming at some point from this amazing night...
